Women’s Squash Night Report

As part of the Women's Squash Week national promotion originated by US Squash, the National Capital Squash event was held on the evening of Wednesday September 25 at the Sports Club/LA in downtown Washington. Approximately 30 women of all ages and skill levels participated in the highly social event that included "Queen of the Court" play at three different skill levels. Women who are new to the game welcomed the opportunity to meet other players, and women new to the District were able to identify other women players at their level. The event was free to participants, and raspberry-colored T-shirts promoting "Women's Squash Week" donated by US Squash were distributed. The Women's Squash Night has proven to be a highly successful way to open the squash season in the NCS. Thanks to Sports Club/LA, National Capital Squash, and US … Continue Reading ››
