Congratulations to Jose Calderon and Ben Smith, who won the Open 5.5 and Open 4.5 skill level divisions at the national championships, which were held in Baltimore April 5-7. Patrick Harris also reached the finals of the Open 5.0, where he lost a close three game match to the #1 seed.

Jose beat Antoine Poulain of Chicago in the four game final. Ben rallied from a 2-1 deficit to Boston’s Girish Venkataramani on the way to an 11-9 victory in the fifth game.
