The Squash On Fire Open, a PSA Pro Tour event, comes to town in February and National Capital Squash (NCS) members have exclusive access to discounted tickets.
Entrants include Belgian Tinne Gilis (world #8), Victor Crouin (world #11), Sabrina Sobhy (world #15), Shahjahan Khan (US #1) Todd Harrity (US #2 and world #51), former world #1 James Willstrop, and 16-year-old sensation Amina Orfi (world #16).
Come out to support several DC locals as they open their campaigns! Squash On Fire and University Club coach Ineta Hopton (world #55) faces Egypt's Menna Hamed (world #65). Ineta will be followed onto court by Mark Broekman, a long time fixture on the DC squash scene and Wakefield School's High School coach, as he faces India's Velavan Senthilkumar (world #63). Danielle Ray also makes another step in her comeback from surgeries, this time against Egyptian Haya Ali (world #60).

First of many tournament announcements for an exciting National Capital Squash District's 2023/24 season. The St. James Squash World Cup, a team event, will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2023. Check out the brochure!
Some of the best women's squash players in the world and future stars will compete from March 14-18th, 2023 at the St. James sports complex. Six of the world's top 50 players are in the draw, which also features Team USA's Marina Stefanoni, who plays #1 for Harvard and is one of our nation's rising stars.

The Jeremy Barnes Memorial Cup Tournament will be held on September 18-19 for adults and juniors.
Entry is $50 and includes dinner Saturday night.

AJ Copeland is organizing a Women's Squash Week event on Sunday September 26 at Squash on Fire, from 9:00-11:00am.
Attendance is FREE and all ages and skill levels welcome!

The annual grudge match between Baltimore and Washington DC is slated for March 28th between 2-5 pm at Squash on Fire.
This is a one-match team format. The visiting team sends its line-up and the host team matches that line up with appropriate opponents. We play one match, then have a social at a local watering hole.

For the second consecutive year, the US Squash Masters Championships will be hosted at Squash on Fire in April 3-5. Masters pits players in age groups from 35-85 for a weekend of great squash. Regardless of the host club, DC always sends a big contingent of players. With it in our home town, let's see a great DC showing this spring!
